General Electric’s Rally May Be Halted By Earnings


General Electric (NYSE:GE) is definitely overbought on a short term basis as it enters earnings. This may result in some profit selling before earnings are announced. Its rally out of post Brexit has been impressive but sentiment has goten a bit ahead of itself. The expected move is a dollar each way for earnings and volatility has stayed unusually low. If the stock can stay above its 10 day moving average, then technicals would still look bullish for General Electric in the long run
